Matthew Harvey

Matthew Harvey is a career Air Force Officer and Company Director. With a career in the Air Force career that has spanned 30 years, Mr Harvey has acquired a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics and Physics) and a Master of Arts (Strategy and Management), as well as Diplomas in Management and Graduate Diplomas in Administration.

Over the last ten years his career has focused on strategy and planning, leadership and crisis management. This includes command of the airbase operations unit in Townsville, as well as being the Senior ADF Officer for the Base.

In addition to this Mr Harvey has been a Non-Executive Director and committee member, focusing in the Not-for-Profit sector but with experience in the financial sector.

Having been part of the gymnastics community as both a parent and Vice President of the Southern Canberra Gymnastics Club, Matthew is looking forward to bringing his expertise in leadership, strategic planning, change management, capability reporting and evaluation against operational objectives and performance measures to the Gymnastics Australia Board.
