Tony Hood

Appointed Director

Tony Hood joined the Gymnastics Australia Board as Director (Commercial Finance) in June 2019. He is also a member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee.

He is a Chartered Accountant with over thirty years experience providing accounting advice to the tourism, marketing, statistics, tech and bio-tech sectors.

Tony exemplifies hard work and commitment. He started his career as a junior accountant at William Buck (formerly Webb Group). From 1995-2000, he worked as Business Manager, and later CFO, with Crown Land Manager, Phillip Island Nature Park (Penguins & Koalas). He returned to his current position, Director, Corporate Advisory, William Buck in 2000.

Tony is based in Ballarat and is a father of five. He is passionate about sport and the positive impact it has on the lives of participants and the flow-on effects to community.
